    This category is for creatives with a passion in the moving image, whether it be a short film, narrated documentary work, or using more than one media element in a final product.

    We’re looking for work that is striking, professional, technically accomplished, has individuality and has a story behind the vision. We’re delighted to have this category in the Q Awards and look forward to seeing the entries.
    WHAT YOU CAN ENTER UNDER THE MOVING IMAGE AWARD:
    • Short film
    • Documentary work
    • Mix media using video (eg, video + animation)
    CATEGORY PRIZES:

    ENTRIES WILL BE ASSESSED ON:
    • Originality
    • Technical accomplishment
    • How striking the work is
    • The thinking behind the work
    • The story behind the work
    • The impact on its potential audience

    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
    • Any work must be the sole work of the entrant.
    • The entrant must provide a link to a video sharing platform, eg, YouTube or Vimeo
    • Each entrant must write a description of their work to help judges understand the thinking and process, plus how the work was carried out. This section is 250-400 words.
