The Last Supper

My photography this year is based on Leonardo da Vinci's painting of The Last Supper. I was inspired to take his work into a modern context, and recreate it for myself. It was after doing this, that I realised how different our eating habits are now. Everything that we eat now has been chemically engineered to perfection, stuffed with sugar, and processed to the point of being unrecognisable. These realisations inspired me to create a set of 10 photographs that show the story of what we've done to our food. Starting with one of the most famous and traditional dinners of all time, to our sugar-coated food of the future.
